For the past four years, The Trane Company on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard has earned the title as United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region’s Highest Contributing Campaign.
In their most recent United Way campaign, Trane and its employees generously pledged over $195,000 to be invested in local partner programs. This amounts to an astonishing 30 percent increase in overall giving compared to the year before. Equally amazing, sixty-five percent of Trane’s workforce participated in their giving campaign. That’s an incredibly high participation rate!
Trane is just as heavily involved in the volunteer arm of United Way. Each year, United Way hold a Days of Caring event to gather local workplace partners for a day or two of volunteer projects at partnering impact agencies like Urban Ministries, Progressive Directions, Centerstone, and Ajax Turner Senior Citizen Center. During the 2015 Days of Caring event, Trane employees donated a total of 16 hours of service work.
