The offices of Fort Campbell Chiropractic and United Chiropractic recently donated approximately $1,000 worth of toys to United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region.  Additionally, 5 Star Radio, Sunrise Rotary Club and City of Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department also held toy drives or contributed gifts this Christmas season.  The toys were distributed to local United Way partner agencies to make the holidays brighter for struggling families. Several local families have been adopted by Publix Tiny Town Road store employees as well as AT&T employees.

Fort Campbell Chiropractic, located at 1881-B Fort Campbell Blvd., and United Chiropractic offices, located at 329 Warfield Blvd., Suite D and 4891 East Main St. in Erin, collected toy donations from patients throughout the months of November and December. Dr. John Curtis, D.C. of Fort Campbell Chiropractic shared their commitment to serving our community.  “We’ve made a conscious decision to donate our time and resources locally, whether it is hosting a golf tournament for the Disabled American Veterans, volunteering for local charities or having a toy drive. The idea of contributing and volunteering within your own community I think is consistent with United Way’s mission. There are very few problems that can’t be solved by getting involved within your own community.”

United Way works to mobilize the caring power of our community by connecting those able to give with those who need assistance.  Dana Fields, United Way Volunteer Coordinator, expresses the gratitude of those served.  “There is tremendous need by many who are facing a difficult Christmas and are unable to provide gifts for their children.  It is a blessing to see the generosity of our community reflected in the lives of so many.  To hear and see their relief is an immeasurable gift in itself.  We are grateful to the businesses, individuals and organizations who share their compassion and giving spirit with others.”
