Prepped for Success has been cancelled for 2020

February 5, 2020

Prepped for Success, a large-scale, community-driven initiative, provides essential school supplies for students who are considered economically disadvantaged.  In its inaugural year, our community rallied together to pack 10,000 bags of school supplies for students in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.

With continued population growth in Clarksville-Montgomery County, the need for student support escalates.  It is estimated over 15,000 students will begin next school year at a disadvantage economically.  That is a little over 40% of the 37,000+ students in the local school district.

Improving equity and ensuring all students have the resources they need to be prepped for success is a top priority of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region and the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation.  To help educators close the achievement gap, the three organizations are partnering together again for the 2nd annual Prepped for Success campaign.
