United Way Provides More Than $5,000 in Toys for Holidays

Thanks to the generous donations of individuals and several local organizations, United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region was able to provide gifts for 300+ children this holiday season.  From bikes to baby dolls, make-up kits to pick-up sticks, more than $5,000 in toys and gifts were distributed to families less fortunate in the Clarksville area.

This year’s toy drives were sponsored by AT&T Tennessee and Beaver 100.3 FM, and an entire van load of additional toys were received from the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.  Clarksville Sunrise Rotary Club contributed $1,000 which was combined with other donations to purchase new toys.

Families receiving toys were also able to select warm outerwear collected through the United Way/Leadership Clarksville Warm Hearts and Warm Souls Coat Drive.
