COMMUNITY CARE FUND
COVID-19 has created challenges and economic hardships in our community. With such a great impact, TVA has partnered with United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region and CDE Lightband to create the COVID-19 Community Care Fund which will assist the critical work done by nonprofit organizations to provide relief to families affected by the pandemic.
TVA will match every dollar we raise up to $25,000 locally to help our community who are experiencing job losses and financial hardships. CDE Lightband employees are also participating in their own internal campaign. One hundred percent of the proceeds collected through United Way will go to the Community Action Agency, Urban Ministries, and 211 to aid CDE Lightband customers by reducing or paying their utility bills. The fundraising campaign launches Monday, May 18th until June 1st, 2020, to help pay it forward to the thousands of customers who are affected.
