ClarksvilleNow.com recently interviewed Velmo Jo Williams, Director of the Adult Literacy Council, to learn more about the services provided by this United Way partner agency. Adult Literacy Council offers free year round tutoring in reading, math and English, as well as instruction for adults who function below the seventh grade competency level.
