Thanks to the help from about 40 local volunteers, the first installment to the revitalization of the Brandon Hills Community Garden is off to a fantastic start! This project is a collaborative effort among Montgomery County Government, Clarksville Academy, The Food Initiative, United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region and the Montgomery County/TSU Extension office. It remains on-going and will require two more installments: March 18th and April 22nd. So there is plenty of time left for you to become a part of this community effort to help provide a sustainable food source for low-income residents and foster educational opportunities as well.
