United-Way-Annual-Meeting-2015-21Triumph prevails as United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region announced its 2014-2015 campaign total, exceeding the $1 million goal with a total raised of $1,001,611.25. Excitement erupted as the total was announced at the Annual Membership Meeting and Campaign Celebration on Tuesday, May 19th, held to recognize local community superheroes that have joined forces throughout the 2014-2015 campaign season.

“This extraordinary success is the result of heroic efforts from members of our community to meet the critical needs of others around them.  We are excited to be able to say THANKS A MILLION to each individual, business and organization who made this possible and who make a difference each day in the lives of those we serve, ” said Ginna Holleman, local United Way CEO. “We are here today to celebrate those who have joined forces to battle the perils of poverty, bolster the health of our community, champion educational opportunities and provide powerful tools for change.  Together, we create a powerful impact and work wonders in the lives of those in need. The Victory Celebration concludes United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region’s 2014-2015 campaign season. United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region, its partner programs and contributors work together to advance the common good. Campaign funds are distributed to local partner programs providing much needed assistance and opportunity for Montgomery, Houston and Stewart County communities.
